Logan Large
Logan began his astrophotography journey in 2022 and is currently a 5th grader at BASIS. Sharing his dad's love for science and the outdoors, Logan often joins him on camping trips to capture stunning images of nebulae and galaxies. Now, Logan shares this passion with his dad, continuing the father-son tradition of exploring the cosmos together.
Outside of school, Logan enjoys traveling, reading, playing sports, watching movies, and exploring video games

Nicolas Large
Nicolas grew up in the countryside of Southern France, where he developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of dark, star-filled skies. His fascination with science began at an early age, leading him to become an Associate Professor of Physics at UTSA.
Inspired by his father, who was both an amateur photographer and astronomer, Nicolas was introduced to both hobbies as a child. However, it wasn’t until the summer of 2020 that he embarked on his own astrophotography journey
